Featured in this lot is this frontiersman horn and leather drinking vessel circa 1860's. The drinking vessel features a wonderfully crafted horn construction that features a leather strap connected to the drinking vessel and shows a tack on wooden base completing the drinking vessel. This horn cup would have been used to drink from a stream or share hooch around the camp fire. The condition of this horn cup is good with a heavy patina adorning the horn cup and the base but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this horn cup is 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2 3/4".
