This Fur Trading axe is in good condition with a discrepancy to the wood handle upper plate on the right side facing the blade end of the axe head. The axe head has a hawk beak spike on the other end and being a full tang hatchet it is extremely sturdy. The saw blade extends from the bottom of the handle and functionally extends. This piece has some tarnishing to the blade and handle, and also the saw blade form usage. The measurements of the axe fully extended are 16 1/8" and the axehead from spike to blade are 4 1/2".
