This is an excellent, handwoven, flat weave rug by master weaver Ricardo Garcia. It was made using 100% soft, fine, handspun yarns in a beautiful, Ganado Hubbell style, Cuatro Crosses pattern. The rug was handwoven with a tight weave using 100% handspun wool yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, handwoven weave displays natural fleece tones in the fine Ganado Hubbell style, Cuatro Crosses pattern in the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Ricardo Garcia. The rug shows a phenomenal Ganado Hubbell Crosses, Navajo style, Cuatro Cruces pattern, with modern details showing wonderful banded decoration with red, black, and orange bands on a cream field, four crosses of the same coloration symmetrically constructed, and red and white braided wool tassels on all four corners of the rug. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a fine, tight weave. The rug measures 2’ by 3’ (2 foot by 3 foot). This is a brand new rug.
