This is an excellent handwoven, flat weave rug by master weaver Julia Ruiz. The rug was made using Angora wool blend, handspun yarns in a beautiful Ganado Intricate Mosaic pattern. The rug was handwoven with a tight weave using Angora wool blend yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, handwoven weave displays the bright rich tones in the fine Ganado style, Intricate Mosaic pattern in the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Julia Ruiz. The rug shows a wonderful contemporary rendition of a Navajo Ganado style, Intricate Mosaic rug with wonderful geometric patterns in colors of cream, light brown, forest green, dark grey, and maroon. The rug has butterscotch and white braided wool tassels on all four corners of the rug. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a tight weave. The rug measures 2’ 6” by 5’ (2 foot 6 inch by 5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
