Included in this lot we have a limited edition Gary Carter print titled "Washburn Grizzly". Gary Carter is one of the most renowned Western & Native American artists of the past thity years. Gary Carter is a West Yellowstone, Montana artist. He is a part of the Cowboy Artist of America and was adopted by the Crow Tribe and Real Bird Family and made a member of the Big Lodge Clan, given the Indian name of “Eagle Man”. The print is titled "Washburn Grizzly" and shows two trappers with four horses as one stands in the snow holding a rifle and standing down a grizzly. The print shows Carter's wonderful art style and attention to detail. The piece is signed twice in the bottom right hand corner reading "Gary Carter 88 - Gary Carter 794/850". The piece is marked across the front reading "Washburn Grizzly Gary Carter C.A.A.". The print comes with a Certificate of Registration & Authentication along with a paper with the Artist's commentary and paper envelope. The piece shows good condition overall. The print measures 25" wide by 18 1/4" tall.
