This lot features a beautiful pewter figurine depiction of "George A. Custer", hero of the Civil War and antagonist during the Indian Wars of the 1870s. George A. Custer eventually lost his life at the Battle of the Greasy Grass, also known as the Battle of the Little Big Horn or Custer's Last Stand. Noted artist F.J. Barnum continues his mastery of detailing facial features in this piece, such as the particularly lush hair Custer was known for having. Also highlighted is the flare his uniform exhibited, including the red bandana and gold colored gilt on the hat, uniform, waist sash, sword, and scabbard. This figurine is in good condition. The figurine is loose on a solid wood base with minor scratches on the lower edge base. This piece measures 10" H x 5" W x 4" D.
