The George Lawrence Company of Portland, Oregon, a saddlery, harness and leather goods firm established in 1857 and incorporated in 1893. George Lawrence was one of the largest makers of leather goods in the West. The belt is made of brown leather with 31 ammo loops along the length of the belt. The belt is marked "The George Lawrence Company - Portland. Orgeon. U.S.A. - 40 - 348". The holster features tooled leather and is marked "26 George Lawrence Co. Portland. OR. - 38 -6". Both are in good condition overall, showing some wear due to use. The belt measures 45 1/2" long by 3" wide, and the holster measures 13" long by 4 1/2" wide.
