Featured in this lot are two, original and signed photos of renowned actor, George Montgomery (1916-2000) from 1958. The first photo shows George Montgomery playing the character "Matt Sloane" in the Western Tombstone film titled, "Toughest Gun In Tombstone", directed by Earl Bellamy and produced by Robert E. Kent. George Montgomery was an American actor, best known for his work in Western films and television. He was also a painter, director, producer, writer, sculptor, furniture craftsman, and stuntman. He was engaged to Hedy Lamarr in 1941, and married Dinah Shore in 1943. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 84. The photo shows his signature on the left hand side reading, "Hi Jeff. Best of luck. George Montgomery". The second photo shows him posing for a studio portrait in his movie set attire. In this photo he is starring in the movie, "Canyon River" as main character "Steve Patrick". His signature can be seen on the right hand side reading, "To Jeff. My best always - George Montgomery". The photos show good condition overall with slight wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. The photos measure 10" L x 8 1/8" W and have a collective weight of under 6 ounces.
