This is an original rare German Kar II carbine bolt action firearm marked V.G. Schilling SUHL 1891. The carbine features an 18 inch blue’d round barrel chambered in 8mm Mauser (7.92x57mm). The barrel features a fixed blade integrated full barrel cap front sight, which compliments the Mannlicher stock well, and has an adjustable elevation rear sight. The rear sight also has an additional flip up sight and the front sling blade shows the unit markings “13. A.F. 322." The blue'd receiver shows matching serial numbers: 5817 as well as markings "V.C. Schilling Suhl 1891" and "Kar.88". The bolt has the upgraded gas deflector. This carbine is a seventh run as designated by the number "f" underneath the serial number. The rifle comes with a standard 5 round clip. The bolt handle has matching serial number and texturing under the handle to promote grip. The straight grain walnut stock is in good condition showing signs of use. Serial Number: 5817. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
