Featured in this lot is this early 1900s German manufactured wood mantel clock. The clock shows a wood construction with a metal clock face and a brass and glass clock face cover. The clock movement is marked reading, "D.R.P.a / D.R.G.M. No. 916380 / 968155 / 968156 / 968157". These "utility-model" patents were originally introduced in 1891 and were for technical advancements rather than designs. The clock is in working order, with both hands moving and the Westminster chimes, chiming every fifteen minutes and chiming on the hour. The clock shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage is noted.
