Featured in this lot we have a signed limited edition Gerry Metz Print marked 110/250. Metz (1943- 2018) was an active artist who is known for his historical paintings, along with landscapes, and bronze sculptures. He is best known for his painted depictions of the lives of Fur Trappers, Indians, and western living in the 19th century. This print shows a trio of cowboys on horse back moving down a grassy and shrub covered slope toward red plateau formations on the right hand side. On the left you can see a locomotive running along side a stream in the valley with a blue sky overhead. The piece is signed "Gerry Metz" in the bottom right hand corner of the print and signed in pencil in the bottom left of the border, just below the print. The print is marked "110/250" indicating that it is from a limited edition printing. The piece shows wonderful detail and is in good condition. The print is set into a dark wood frame with a tan border. The frame measures 30 1/2" wide by 23 1/4" tall with the print measuring 21 1/2" wide by 14 1/2" tall.
