Featured in this lot is this GIA 2.16ct emerald VS2 diamond and platinum ring with GIA and GGA paperwork. The ring features a polished, stamped, and tested platinum construction that is marked on the inside of the ring band as follows: Oscar Friedman - PT950. The ring shows a center stone of pear brilliant cut Colombian Emerald that shows measurements of 11.67 x 7.22 x 5.28mm and is type 3 with a 5/5 green coloration and a total weight of 2.16ct. The center stone and split pave shoulders are decorated with a total of 41 round brilliant cut diamonds that shows measurements of 1.8 x 1.6mm and a color grade of F - G with a clarity of VS1 - VS2 and a total diamond weight of 0.89ct. The piece comes complete with GGA(GemAssure Gemological Appraisals, GGA Appraisal Number#: GGA066678 and trace number: RN034950) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $28,740.00. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Emerald Grading Report#: 6224948195. The ring size is US 7 1/4.
