Featured in this lot is this GIA Burmese ruby VS2 diamond and platinum ring with GIA and GGA paperwork. The ring features a polished, stamped, and tested platinum construction that is marked as follows: Oscar Friedman - PT950. The center stone is a natural octagonal step, faceted cut Burma ruby with dimensions of 7.46 x 4.82 x 3.94mm and shows a type 3 clarity and a purplish red coloration with a total weight of 1.53ct. The shoulders and the centerstone is decorated with a total of 24 round brilliant cut diamonds with measurements of 2 x 1.9mm with clarity of VS2 - VS1 and a coloration of F - G and a total diamond weight of 0.49cts. The piece comes complete with GGA(GemAssure Gemological Appraisals, GGA Appraisal Number#: GGA065267 and trace number: RN034149) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $11,720.00. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Ruby Grading Report#: 2225396947. The collective weight of this ring is 4.1g and the ring size is US 7. RN034149.
