The ring shows an electronically tested 18k white gold ladies cast ring in new condition and displaying great workmanship. The ring has an 'AU750' stamp on the inside of the ring band. The ring shows a center stone of prong set rectangular cushion mixed cut natural purplish pink Montana sapphire with measurements of 8.13mm x 6.22mm x 4.63mm and an exact weight of 2.20 carats; the sapphire has slightly included clarity, medium very slightly brownish purplish pink coloration, (GIA pPi 5/3), and good cut. The sapphire shows naturally occurring internal and external characteristics present and transmits light with no distortion; there is no indication of heating. The sapphire was graded loose prior to setting in the GIA laboratory. The pave shoulders are decorated with 8 prong set round brilliant cut diamonds measuring 2.30mm - 2.20mm x 1.37mm; the diamonds have a weight of 0.38 carats with a color gradient of F - H and VS1 - SI1 clarity. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000721114025) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $9,440.00.
