Featured in this lot is this GICY Brand outfitters pack saddle circa 1930's. The pack saddle features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden and leather construction that shows a traditional pack saddle frame and tree with leather straps outfitting this saddle to bear weight. The saddle is marked with the makers mark and a ownership mark on the underside of the tree as follows: GICY - B. The condition of this pack saddle is well preserved with wear to the tree and to the wood from age and use but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this 7 1/2" x 13 3/4" x 22 1/2". The collective weight of this pack saddle is 9lb 10oz.
