This lot features Griswold "No 8" cast iron Dutch oven with Tite-Top Self Basting lid. Circa 1940s. The pot is marked on the bottom "GRISWOLD ((logo) "8" CAST IRON TITE-TOP DUTCH OVEN ERIE PA., U.S.A." The lid is a low dome and marked "8 / SELF BASTING" on the inside. The Dutch oven and lid are in very good condition, they have been cleaned and seasoned. They each measure 10 6/8" in diameter.
