This is a wonderful original work of art solid bronze sculpture by renowned wildlife artist, Mark Hopkins. This sculpture is signed in the bronze as shown and was created in circa 1992. The sculpture is also hand limited numbered of Number 223 of 450. The bronze shows exquisite detail of a American Grizzly Bear ferociously grasping a Rainbow Trout Trophy fish in its claw and mouth. The bronze shows a solid bronze construction with large size and wonderful condition. The piece has immense detail and truly displays well. Mark Hopkins, an American Artist from the 20th to 21st Century, is considered one of the premier sculptors in the United States today. His works have sold at such prominent auctions as Heritage Auctions, Bunch Auctions, Kodner Galleries, High Noon, Manitou Galleries, and more. His works are continually valued in this size at over $5,000 which can obviously be seen in the wonderful detail and style. Measures 14"H x 14"W x 12"D.
