The lot features an original Gros Ventre Native American Indians of Montana fully beaded awl case dating to the 19th Century. The piece shows a parfleche rawhide construction with Buffalo Great American Bison Indian tanned hide wide single fringe. The piece is fully covered in 1800's period correct glass trade seed beads in red white heart, chalk white, Cheyenne pink, cobalt, medium-green, green, greasy yellow, faceted metal, and various other colors in the crazy linear geometric pattern. Provenance: From a large American Indian collection in Great Falls, Montana. Measures overall 14"L.
