Featured in this lot is this wood engraving by Gustave Dore printed in Paris, France by Gerhardt H. Felgemaker in 1867. The engraving features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that shows a stag with his doe in the background with two fawns in the distance. The front of the engraving is marked as follows: g. Dore - I Fournier. The back of the engraving and on a sticker attached to the frame reads as follows: 02109923 - Gerhardt H. Felgemaker printseller - Original wood engraving by Gustave Dore. rinted in Paris in 1867. The condition of this wood engraving is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this framed engraving is 12 1/2" x 16 1/8" and visible artwork measures 3 1/8" x 7". The collective weight of this framed wood engraving is 1lb 14oz.
