Featured in this lot is this beautiful H & D Rosenberg sterling silverware set circa 1880-1900s. This set includes six large serving spoons, twelve smaller spoons, twelve dinner forks, one butter knife, one salad fork, one cream ladle and five smaller spoons with a different design. They come in the original H & D Rosenberg Jewelers faux leather hard case, lined with blue clothe on the inside. The inside features designated slots for the silverware to sit in. The extra five spoons, the salad fork, the butter knife and the cream ladle do not have designated spots. The top of the interior reads, "H & D Rosenberg Jewelers / Rochester, N.Y." in gold gilt lettering on the blue clothe. The silverware shows good condition overall showing light patinas on some and wear present but no signs of major damage is noted. The case shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and use over the years but no signs of major damage is noted. Case still locks. The silverware measures from 6 1/16" L x 1 5/16" W to 8 1/2" L x 1 13/16" W. The case measures 10 3/4" L x 16 3/4" W x 2 1/4" H. The collection and case have a collective weight of 5 pounds and 8 ounces.
