Featured in this lot we have a half stock percussion cap Kentucky rifle chambered in .32 caliber. The kentucky rifle displays a 36" octagonal barrel, curly maple half stock, percussion cap hammer, under barrel ram rod, and brass trigger guard and butt plate. The lock plate is marked "R & W. E. BIDDLE & Co. WARRANTED" with a landscape scene showing a crane and waterfowl behind the hammer. Mechanically the rifle shows non operational condition with the hammer and trigger system not properly locking and a blockage halfway down the barrel. The rifle overall shows good condition for its age with wear and pitting due to age. The rifle weighs 7lbs 12oz. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
