Featured in this lot is a hand carved flying bird decoy and wooden chain originating from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The piece displays a hand carved wooden decoy in the shape of a bird in flight. The piece shows feather designs on the neck and the wings are made from separate pieces. The back of the piece shows two wooden chain links attached to a post set into the decoy’s back. The piece shows good condition overall and some wear due to age. The piece measures 10 1/4" wide 10 1/2" long and 16 3/4" tall.
