For your consideration is this hand carved and polished hippo made from acacia circa 1930's. This is a good representation of a hippopotamus with a great contrasting coloration from the example of acacia hardwood. The condition of this hand carved hippo is good with no obvious signs of damage, there are natural fractures from the hardwood settling but in good overall condition. The measurements of this hippo are 15" x 26" x 8 1/2".
