Included in this lot is a collection of four hand woven African harvest baskets. The traditional designs in these baskets are as culturally universal as the art of basket weaving itself. Village women in Nigeria gather natural materials from the bush and make colorful dyes from plants and tree bark. The intricately hand woven "working" baskets hold grain, winnow wheat, and are a fine collectable decor. All of these baskets are in good condition, showing no signs of damage.
