For your consideration in this lot we have a collection of four hand woven African tribal baskets, believed to be from Yoruba or Ivory Coast Africa. The collection consists of three lower profile baskets, and one deep bowl basket. The first three baskets show tan and brown woven grasses in a coil technique with geometric patterns of vibrant red, black, and brown color. The baskets are a tight weave, and the design show a sun, star, and arrow patters on these three baskets. The baskets are finished on the inside with a rougher exterior. The fourth and larger round basket has a raised base stand, along with darker and lighter color weaves around the rim. The pieces show good condition overall. The largest of the baskets measures 12" in diameter and 8 1/2" deep. The smaller three baskets measure approximately 13"-15" in diameter.
