Featured in this lot is this Hardove barbed serrated point and aged from the Early Archaic period and circa 10,000 - 7,500 B.P. The point shows a medium triangular with an expanding stem point. The cross section is elliptical with distinct notch that forms a sharp 'V' angle and barbed shoulders. The point is napped from a light cream chert material. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this point are 4" x 1 7/8" x 1/4". This point was taken from Kentucky.
