The cowboy is depicted as he is jumping out of the saddle with a tie gripped in his mouth to tie the calf. The horse is shown planting its front hooves to stop as the calf charges forward. The art is signed on the bottom right-hand side, reading "Harley Brown". The piece is set into a wood frame with a tan border around the art.
