Featured in this lot we have a Harrington and Richardson Arms Topper M48 single shot shotgun chambered in 16 gauge. The Topper M48 shotgun was manufactured from 1943 to 1956. This shotgun displays 30" long round barrel, walnut stock, break action release lever, single action hammer, and rubber butt plate. The frame displays a case hardened finish with the barrel showing a blue'd finish. The barrel is marked "MADE IN U.S.A. 16 GA CHOKE" with the side of the frame marked "TOPPER M48 HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO WORCESTER, MASS. ~ MADE IN U.S.A." with the serial number. The piece shows working mechanical condition and working single action trigger and hammer. The shotgun shows good condition overall with minor wear across the exterior due to age and use. Serial Number: G13021. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
