This is a fabulous, signed chip turquoise and branch coral circa 1970-1980’s bracelet attributed to Harvey Austin Begay (Dine, 1938-2009), a Navajo master silversmith. The bracelet is signed with a joined HB nearly identical to other Harvey Begay pieces and was identified as such by the collector. The piece is a “late-vintage pawn” piece showing the classic old chip inlay pattern using natural turquoise and branch coral on sterling silver. The cuff bracelet features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver and inlaid chipped turquoise and red branch coral construction that shows arrow and mountain imagery as well as tooled design motifs for the moon, rattlesnake jaw, The cuff bracelet is marked as follows: "HB - Sterling". The condition of this impressive Navajo cuff bracelet is very nice with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. Measures 7.25" circumference including the 1.5" opening, 1.5"W x 2"D. Collective weight is 47.6gms.
