Included in this lot is a framed Hazen Alkire print of Montana Trappers, originating from the late 1900's. Hazen Alkire is an American artist known for his depiction of western scenes. This print displays a pair of Montana hunters/trappers standing in a snow covered clearing with a forest rising in the background. The figure on the left is displayed in a thick, wool blanket jacket with a black powder rifle in a leather sling. The second figure shows simple leather clothes with tassels across the arms and a fur hide hat. The print is signed in the bottom right-hand corner, reading "Hazen Alkire 89". The piece is set into a wooden frame with a light brown border. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 32 3/4" wide by 23 1/2" tall, with the art measuring 26 1/2" wide by 17 1/2" tall.
