Featured in this lot is this Hebron Turkey Tail point from the Late Archaic to Early Woodland Period and aged from 4,000 - 2,500 B.P. This is a thin, large contracting point with flattened cross section. The blade is excurvate with a leaf shape. This point has parallel notches low on the blade, almost at the base. The shoulders are horizontal. The stem expands to a point on the notch and then contracts, ending at a point. The construction of this point is of pinkish material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 6 3/8" x 1 1/2".
