Included in this lot is a framed, unused Helena Electric Railway Company stock certificate from 1800. The certificate reads, "This is to certify that (insert name) is entitled to (insert number) shares of one hundred dollars each of the Capital Stock of the Helena Electric Railway Company transferable only on the Books of the Company in person by Attorney or by legal representation on the surrender of this Certificate. Witness the seal of the Helena Electric Railway Company, and signatures of the President and Secretary thereof at Helena, Montana." The certificate measures 11 1/2" X 7 1/2" and the frame measures 15 1/2" X 12 1/4".
