Featured in this lot is this hen Mallard decoy by Raymond Hornick of Stoney Point Decoys. The decoy features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden and life like painted decoration and shows glass eyes. The decoy is marked on the bottom as follows: "Stoney Point Decoys Glen Burnie, MD (hand signed) Raymond E Hornick." The bottom has the burnt mark by Stoney Point Decoys and is hand signed in pen by Raymond E Hornick of the Hornick Brothers, renowned decoy makers. The condition of this duck decoy is well preserved with only slight wear to the paint job consistent with some age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this duck decoy is 6 1/8" x 14 1/4" x 5 3/4". The collective weight of this decoy is 2lb.
