The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction that is hand knotted and shows geometric patterns with bold medallions and shows stylized floral motifs with a durable thick weave and includes colors such as: red, blue, and beige, with some yellow. Traditional Heriz rugs are distinct Persian rugs produced in northwest areas of Iran that feature a central geometric medallion surrounded by nature-inspired design motifs. Heriz Persian rugs are known for their durability, handcrafted from 100% wool with dense, hand-tied knots that create a low, sturdy pile. The condition of this Persian rug is well preserved with some wear to the knotting on the outside and shows some discoloration to the rug itself but otherwise is well preserved condition. The measurements of this rug is 82 1/2" x 51".
