The shotgun features a 22" blue'd steel round barrel and factory receiver with deluxe walnut hardwood checkered stocks and Cutt's compensator. The left side of the receiver is marked "Savage - Savage Arms Corporation Utica, New York, U.S.A. – Model 720". The right side of the barrel is marked "Proof Tested 12 Gauge 2 3/4" Proof Chamber. This Savage shotgun showcases extensive engravings and carvings throughout the barrel and receiver. The engraving on the left of the receiver shows two dogs on point at a pair of pheasants, while the right side shows a single dog flushing what appears to be two quail or partridge.
