For your consideration is this Hohokam culture stone polished clay pottery bowl. The Hohokam culture were prehistoric North American Indians who flourished in present day central and southern Arizona from 200 to 1400 CE. The bowl was excavated in 1950 by the consigner's father. It was appraised by Bruce Shackelford, an independent San Antonio appraiser and consultant for Indian art and culture. The bowl's circumference measures 6.75" and it is 3" tall.
