Featured in this lot is this Holland flared lanceolate point from the Transitional Paleo to Early Archaic period and aged from B.P. 9,250 - 8,850. The point features a thin medium lanceolate flared stemmed point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is excurvate with stronger flared shoulders, basal thinning, and hafting with regional grinding; it features a 3/4 fluted on both sides, which is highly unique. The point was knapped from a milky white chert material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious sings of damage. The measurements of this point are 4 1/4" x 1 5/8" x 1/2".
