Featured in this lot is this Holland flared lanceolate point from the Transitional Paleo to Early Archaic period and aged from B.P. 9,250 - 8,850. The point featured a thin medium lanceolate flared stemmed point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is excurvate with stronger flared shoulders and basal thinning and hafting with regional grinding. The blade is knapped from a tiger striped cream and light brown chert material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 3 7/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/4".
