For your consideration is a Holwick electric coffee mill grinder with a Robbins & Myers motor. The coffee mill features a cast iron base with a tapered pedestal that holds the motor. The motor is a Robbins & Myers alternating current, type FA No. M4852KA-12 and was manufactured in the USA for B.C. Holwick - Canton, O which is indicated on an engraved brass plate. This piece would have been used in country stores in the early 1900s. An aluminum hopper holds the beans that feeds the coffee beans into the mill. The steel can on the bottom catches the ground coffee. The mill has a painted red finish with the original pinstriping. The motor is marked "Holwick" and has a knob to adjust the fineness of the grinding. The coffee mill is in good condition showing signs of age and use, electrical is untested. The piece measures approximately 28"H x 13"D x 9 1/2"W.
