For your consideration is this Hopi Indian leather wrapped serving tray, circa early 1900's. The tray shows 30 tightly wrapped coils of wicker construction. The top rim is wrapped in leather, as is the center on the top and the bottom of the tray. The bottom of the woven tray shows a naturally dyed geometric pattern spiraling from the center of the tray. The condition of this woven basket tray is fair, with wear consistent with age and some fraying to the leather along the rim of the tray. The measurements of this woven basket tray are 1" x 15 1/4" x 15 1/4".
