Featured in this lot is a beautiful Hopi Indian Mohair Woven Eye Dazzler rug. The rug was made by Mary Yestite c. 1970 from Second Mesa. The Hopi are a Native American tribe, often recognized for populating the North American continent and in particular, Arizona. This rug shows a beautiful geometric pattern design with black, tan, and gold color scheme. The rug comes complete with the original tag from Polacca Trading Post - Hopi Indian Crafts that reads on the back: Maker: Mary Yestite - Mohair - About 1970 2nd Mesa. It is in good condition and measures 37" x 25".
