Featured in this lot is this Hopi "Watermelon Clown" Kachina or Koshare by Leo Silversmith circa 1980's. The Kachina features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wood, hide, and fur tuff construction that shows the Clown Kachina man with the horizontal striped variant holding a slice of watermelon in its right hand and a knife in the left and features hide adornments with a concho belt and fur tuff hair. The bottom of the Kachina is marked as follows: L. Silversmith - Leo. The condition of this Kachina doll is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this Kachina doll is 12" x 4 1/4" x 3 3/4". The collective weight of this Kachina doll is 4oz.
