Featured in this lot we have a Hopkins & Allen No. 832 rolling block rifle chambered in .32 caliber and manufactured in the early 1900's. This rifle displays a 21" long round barrel, rolling block action, walnut stock and front grip, hard rubber butt plate, and sling point take down screw. The piece is marked across the top of the barrel reading "THE HOPKINS & ALLEN ARMS CO. NORWICH, CONN. U.S.A. No. 832". Mechanically the rifle shows good working condition with a crisp trigger and smooth rolling block lever operation. The bottom of the frame displays a take down screw with sling point allowing the rifle to be quickly and easily taken down into to parts allowing for easier travel and storage. The rifle shows good condition overall with wear across the piece due to handling and age with the barrel and frame showing age appropriate patina. The rifle weighs 3lbs. Serial Number: NSN.
