Featured in this lot is this silver gelatin photograph titled "De fokes At Home" by Howard Photo (19th C. American) circa 1890 to 1900. The phtoograph shows a African American family inside and outside their dwelling. the photograph has been marked in the negative as follows: De Fokes At Home - Folks at Home - Howard Photo. The back of the photograph is marked as follows: Howard (19th C. American) - "De Fokes at Home" African American family with their accoutrements signed and titled in the negative - silver gelatin photograph C. 1890-1900's. The condition of this of this photograph is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this 17 1/4" x 15 1/8" and the visible artwork measures 3 5/8" x 5 1/4". The collective weight of this framed photograph is 3lb 4oz.
