For your consideration is this Hudson Bay blue white heart trade bead necklaces. These large Hudson Bay White Heart “Cornaline d'Aleppo” exotic trade beads dating to the 16th-17th Century. These 1600-1800’s beads are regularly referred to as “white hearts” due to the opaque white core at the “heart” or center of each bead that is finished with a red semi-translucent outer shell (showing the white partially through). This outstanding strand shows a normal size with very rare shiny semi-transparent outer shell. The strand consists of tightly braided waxed leather, a later addition. There is as over 500 antique original Hudson Bay Fur Trading Company exotic glass trade beads. The measurements of each necklace are 9" top knot to tip.
