Featured in this lot is this Hudson's Bay wool point trade blanket. This is a 3 1/2 point blanket. In the days of fur trapping and trading, a 3 1/2 point blanket would be exchanged for 3-4 beaver hides. This blanket is done in a bold red with a black border band on each end. This blanket carries a tag from the Hudson's Bay Company. The condition of this trade blanket is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The trade blanket measures 62" x 76".
