Featured in this lot is this collection of Hudson Bay blue white heart short strand necklaces. There are twelve short strand necklaces in this collection. The necklaces show a wonderfully and professionally crafted blue white heart bead construction strung on fishing line. These Hudson Bay White Heart “Cornaline d'Aleppo” exotic trade beads dating to the 16th-17th Century. These 1600-1800’s beads are regularly referred to as “white hearts” due to the opaque white core at the “heart” or center of each bead that is finished with a red semi-translucent outer shell in this case green(showing the white partially through). The condition of this collection of necklaces is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The flat measurements of the necklaces on average is 8". The collective weight of these necklaces is 399.9g. Provenance: From the Indian Nation Trading Post.
