The lot features five Hudson Bay trade bead necklaces include red white hearts, blue white hearts, green white hearts and light blue white hearts. These Hudson Bay White Heart “Cornaline d'Aleppo” exotic trade beads dating to the 16th-17th Century. These 1600-1800’s beads are regularly referred to as “white hearts” due to the opaque white core at the “heart” or center of each bead that is finished with a red semi-translucent outer shell (showing the white partially through). This outstanding strand shows smaller in size with very rare shiny semi-transparent outer shell. The strand consists of tightly woven natural fibers, a later addition as well as one green string strand. There are approximately 550-650 original Hudson Bay Fur Trading Company exotic glass trade beads. The measurements of the necklaces are approx. 13-inches from the back of the neck straight top the bottom or about 26-inches in circumference.
