Included in this lot are Hunter 1100 Series Holsters (2), size 37, circa 1950s and size 50, circa late century. These are classic American full-grain leather holsters designed primarily for revolvers, well-known for their "snap-off" design, which allows you to attach or remove the holsters without unbuckling your belt. The model 37 is designed primarily for revolvers with 4" to 4 1/2" barrels, i.e. the J. C. Higgins Model 88 and Smith & Wesson K-frame revolvers such as the Model 10. The model 50 is a classic, American-made leather holster designed primarily for large-frame single-action and double-action revolvers with a 7.5-inch barrel such as Ruger Blackhawk and the Iver Johnson C37 Cattleman. This model 50 comes with a leather thigh cord strap attached. Both holsters are right-hand configuration. The Hunter Company is a heritage manufacturer that has been handcrafting premium leather holsters and firearm accessories in the United States since 1952.
