For your consideration are six silver plate bowls made by Israel Freeman & Sons and J. Green & Company circa mid 1800s to mid 1900s. The first four silver plate bowls in this lot were made by J. Green & Company in Brooklyn, New York. The are marked on the bottom showing three stamps. The crossed keys stamp indicates it was made by J. Green & Company, while the two other marks are unidentified, most likely date stamps or quality stamps. They show an intricate floral design along the top rim of the bowl showing bushels of berries and leaves. The two other bowls were made by Israel Freeman & Sons after they moved their business from England to New York. The bowls are stamped "I.F.S. LTD" on the underside of the rim showing that they were made by Israel Freeman & Sons in New York circa 1930-40s. They show a nice, embossed design around the rim of the bowl and feature a wood base that can be seen from the inside of the bowl. The bottom of the wood base is covered in green felt to preserve the wood bottom and prevent scratching. The bowls in this lot show good condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years but no signs of major damage is noted. The first four bowls measure a top diameter of 4 7/8" and a height of 2 1/2", while the two wood base bowls measure a top diameter of 7 3/4" and a height of 1 15/16". They have a collective weight of 5 pounds.
